Xfire Skins Library

Want Xfire to look a little smaller? A little bigger? How about one in red? Or neon green? Maybe you're a fan of some particular game and want your Xfire to match? Whatever your graphics tastes, the answer is yes - Xfire can do that.

Installation Instructions

To use these skins, simply click on the "Download" link to download. The skin may have one of 3 installation types:

Xfire Download System: Click the Download button to go to the file page. Then click the Get This File button to begin downloading. You must be logged into the Xfire application for the download to begin. You can monitor progress on the files tab in the Xfire application. Once the download is complete, the skin will be installed automatically.
Pre-built Installer: Click the Download button and save the .exe file. Run that .exe once the download has completed. Restart Xfire. The skin will then be installed.
Manual (Zip File): Click the Download button and save the .zip file to the skins directory within your Xfire installation directory (i.e., C:/Program Files/Xfire/Skins/SkinName.zip). Once the download has completed, restart Xfire. The skin will then be installed.

Once you've installed the skin, go to the Tools Menu and choose your skin from the Skins sub-menu.

These skins rock, but how do I make my own?

If you want to create your own skins, you'll need to do a bit (but not too much!) of reading. Start at the new Xfire XML Skinning wiki and get involved at the forums with fellow skinners. They are a great resource and quite expert!

What features are on what skins?
Not every skin has every feature! Some skins were created too long ago, and don't have graphics or windows for some of the newer features. To help you make an informed decision, each skin has a confusing list of letters to denote what features are available on them. Here is the list:
