We collect information from you when you register on the site or fill out a form.
You may also visit the site anonymously.

If you choose to contact us, we retain the email address you provide and any other details you send so that we can respond where needed. We do not use contact-form submissions for marketing purposes.
What do we use your information for?
Information collected through the site may be used to:
- personalize your experience
- improve the website and its tools
- administer contests, promotions, surveys, or other site features
- help show advertising that is more relevant or useful
How do we protect your information?
We use a range of security measures to help protect your personal information when you enter, submit, or access it, including SHA-256 secure browser encryption.
Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics to obtain anonymous data about how visitors use the site, including which pages are visited, how long sessions last, and which countries traffic comes from.
Embedded content from other websites
Articles on this site may include embedded content such as videos, images, and articles. Embedded content from other websites behaves in the same way as if you visited that third-party site directly.
Those websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that content, including when you are logged in to their services.
How long we retain your data
For users who register on the website, if any, we also store the personal information provided in their user profile. Users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time, except that they cannot change their username. Website administrators can also see and edit that information.
What rights you have over your data
If you have an account on this site, you may request an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including data you provided to us.
You may also request that we erase personal data we hold about you, except for data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
Do we disclose any information to outside parties?
We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer your personally identifiable information to outside parties. We may release information when we believe doing so is appropriate to comply with the law, enforce site policies, or protect rights, property, or safety.
Partners
Certain partners have a legitimate interest in collecting and profiling personal data in the form of IP address and cookie ID so they can provide targeted advertising and ad measurement. For more detail, including opt-out or access requests, review the relevant partner privacy policy or contact their data-protection officer directly.
YouTube API services
YouTube videos embedded on Xfire use YouTube API Services and are subject to the Google Privacy Policy.
Xfire does not store user information in relation to your direct use of YouTube API Services. The video URL may be stored on our servers, and anonymous aggregate statistics about video views may be recorded by Google under its own privacy terms.
Mediavine Programmatic Advertising (Ver 1.1)
The website works with Mediavine to manage third-party interest-based advertising that appears on the site. Mediavine may serve content and advertisements using first-party and third-party cookies.
Third-party cookies, tags, pixels, beacons, and similar technologies may be used to monitor interaction with advertising content and to target and optimize advertising. You can usually manage or disable cookies through your browser settings. More information is available at All About Cookies.
Rejecting cookies does not necessarily stop ads from appearing. It usually means you will still see advertising, but it will be less personalized.
The website may collect the following data when serving personalized ads:
- IP address
- operating system type and version
- device type
- language of the website
- web browser type
- email address in hashed form
Mediavine partners may combine that information with other independently collected signals in order to deliver interest-based advertising across devices, browsers, and apps.
If you want more information or would like to manage opt-in and opt-out choices, see:

For European Economic Area residents
If you live in the European Economic Area, you may have rights under the GDPR and related data-protection laws to access your personal data, request deletion, or restrict further processing. To make a request, contact us through the Contact page.
For California residents
California law gives residents the right to opt out of the "sale" of personal information to third parties, including some advertising-related sharing. We do not share names, direct contact information, or other sensitive personal information with advertising partners, but some advertising-related transfers could still be interpreted as a sale under California law.
Third party links
From time to time, we may include links to third-party products or services. Those third-party sites have separate privacy policies, and we are not responsible for their content or activities. We still welcome feedback about anything linked from the site.
